‘Do you accept my insurance’ is a question we hear everyday. We want to do our best to explain how this works, then help you maximize your benefit while you get the care you deserve.
We will bill to any insurance company, however we are considered an ‘out of network provider’ for all insurance institutions. When you look at your plan breakdown you should see two categories, one for in network and one for out of network providers. In some cases the coverage is the same, but with some plans you will receive a lesser benefit with an out of network provider meaning your portion of cleanings fillings etc will be a little larger.
The two companies that 95% of the time will not send us payment are Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield (regardless of this, we still submit claims on your behalf – it won’t be any more work for you). This simply means you would pay for each visit in full and the insurance check is then sent to you within 15-30 days.
We do our best to estimate your portion due for each visit, and it is our policy to review all expected fees with you before the time of service so that you can be financially prepared. We also offer no interest payment plants through Care Credit to help you manage your out of pocket expenses.
